Client-Patient Care Specialist Job Posting # 062011RAHT If you love to smile and are friendly and professional, then NVAHS wants you to join our team! We are a busy (1.5 DVM) veterinary practice that is seeking an energetic and selfmotivated full time Client-Patient Care Specialist. Our doctors and support team believe in providing the best care to every patient and its owner. We are searching for an RAHT who has a pleasant demeanor, is self-motivated, and has exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent computer skills. The position demands a motivated and efficient client- patient care representative with a cheerful attitude. Your official title is Client- Patient Care Specialist and at Nechako Valley Animal Health Services you will share the same responsibilities as our current RAHT. The duties of this position encompass and utilize all of your AHT training (large and small animal), as well as but not limited to greeting clients in person and on the telephone, managing appointments, maintaining office records, and acting as a liaison between our clients and doctors.
To succeed with our veterinary practice, employees must be energetic, attentive to detail, team players, and willing to learn on the go. The right candidate will also be friendly and ready to go the extra mile to provide the best care to our clients. Full-time employee benefits include health-care package for your pets, professional development allowance, uniform allowance and medical package. The work schedule is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. The ideal applicants will have an RAHT diploma, a Class 5 driver's license, be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and have a minimum of 1 year veterinary experience. VOA/MOA's are also encouraged to apply. Experience with Avimark software will be an asset. Salary depends on experience. Nechako Valley Animal Health Services is a smoke and drug free workplace. Volunteer Opportunities - At Nechako Valley Animal Health Services, we are happy to help those who are interested in entering the veterinary field. A variety of cases can be seen on a daily basis with veterinarians and staff available to answer any questions you may have. Due to the amount of people asking to volunteer, we are careful at selecting only those who are truly serious about applying to Veterinary or Animal Health Technology programs.
